CFA Coaching is nothing new.
If you want to lose weight or get ripped, the most direct approach to get results is to hire a personal trainer to support the process.
We are personal trainers for the CFA Program Exams.

In 2011 a friend asked me to help him prepare for his upcoming CFA Level II Exam. I was initially reluctant because I wasn’t sure that he would be receptive to my approach, or that it would work for someone else – like it had worked for me.
I worked with him closely over the next 6 months and the results were undeniable. I had a system that could be replicated.
Since then I have been helping candidates across the globe achieve their goals.
To start, I mentored candidates locally who found me through referrals. Now, this premium CFA coaching is available to anyone.
But I am only good at what I do because:
1) I don’t work with everyone, and instead focus on a niche.
2) I restrict the number of clients, to not compromise on quality or excellence.
All candidates work directly with me – no palming you off to an assistant, AI bot, or pre-recorded lectures.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO
🔬 There are no ‘hacks’ to passing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Exams.
The only shortcut is setting things up right so that you can sustain momentum over the long study season. For this reason, we believe in keeping things as simple as possible.
Our clients typically study 7-15 hours per work-week in the early mornings and/or evenings, with another 7-15 hours over the weekends.
They focus on high-intensity / high-quality studying, with a large emphasis on revision, practice questions and mock exams.
We don’t take new clients looking to cram, with less than 3 months until their exam. Our entire approach is based on steady consistent mastery – not quick fix results.
As a minimum you’ll need to check in once every two weeks via email with your progress data and feedback questions. We provide detailed feedback, together with consistent accountability, review, and tracking – the cornerstone to unlocking success.
We will not do anything that will waste your time, and do not need you to commit to any calls.
IS OUR STYLE OF COACHING RIGHT FOR YOU
We work 1-on-1 and communication is via email. We will sometimes record video responses at update points, but email is the primary medium we work in. This means:
✅ You need to be the type of person who appreciates detailed, deliberate and nuanced feedback and communication.
❌ We are not for you if you prefer quick, text-message-like exchanges or wish to have live video calls.
THE NO-PHONE POLICY
We ask clients not to read or respond to emails from their phones.
We’ll communicate via email, and these emails form a valuable written record and reference tool. It is difficult to work with spreadsheets and read and respond to detailed emails on the phone.
On the rare occasion that a client has left our services unhappy, it was due to a communication breakdown, and the root cause was always a phone. This policy has fixed it.

HOW THE COACHING EXPERIENCE WORKS
1 PLAN
We kick things off with a short call to see it we’re a good fit for one another.
We begin by discussing your motivations and understanding why your previous attempt(s) was (were) unsuccessful. You can also ask us any questions or concerns you might have.
We come to the call prepared.
We’ll share a solid draft plan, a roadmap to success. This starts with a detailed schedule to cover the exam curriculum – including enough time for spaced revision, practice questions, and lots of mock exams.
We overlay this with your personal preferences – daily and weekend routines, available study times, early riser or night owl, and planned interruptions (like a friend’s wedding or work commitments, etc.)
You’ll have absolute clarity on what you need to do every week from now until the exam.
If we agree on things and have a shared vision for the road to success, then it’s time to commit. We both sign-off on the game-plan which becomes our shared commitment to one another, and the roadmap for consistent daily action.
We’ll send a payment link and get started right away.
If we’re not a good fit, no hard feelings. We’ll still make recommendations and you can keep a copy of the plan we suggest.
2 EXECUTE
We break the long CFA journey down into two-weekly ‘sprints‘.
This timeframe is short enough to maintain focus and energy, but also long enough to measure meaningful progress.
You’ll have specific goals for the sprint, including covering new exam chapters, and revising / practicing / solidifying what you’ve previously studied.
Your job is to take daily action and hit the goals.
Our job is to help you do that, hold you accountable, and answer any questions.
3 TRACK
We are fastidious when it comes to measuring and tracking progress.
To do this we’ll check in at the end of each two-week sprint.
You’ll submit your progress data and feedback questions.
We’ll track how you’re hitting your goals and milestones – that the hours you’re putting in are translating into exam mastery.
We answer any questions, concerns, or doubts.
The map is not the terrain. We understand that things happen which could not be anticipated at planning stage. If anything on the game-plan needs adjustment, this is where we will tweak things as necessary to stay on target.
We’ll send you back comprehensive feedback together with your goals for the next sprint.
4 SUCCESS
We are your partners on this journey and are completely aligned.
Once you pass the exam we’ll be the first to share in your celebration.

Our coaching doesn’t force you into a rigid schedule. It helps you build your own structure so that you can study in a way that fits your lifestyle, whether you prefer a slow-and-steady or more intensive approach.
Many past candidates who initially worry about structure find that working with us eliminated decision fatigue and reduced last-minute stress. With a clear roadmap, they feel more in control of their CFA journey than ever.
While time is not always a perfect proxy for effort, you will need to commit at least 15–20 hours of focused study every week, although realistically many clients push for more. Every two weeks, you’ll check in via email, attaching our tracking spreadsheet that we’ll use to track your progress. You’ll need to write a brief email letting us know how you are getting on.
No. Most of our students work from the notes provided by CFAI. Mark Meldrum Access is included for additional support. However, if you prefer supplementing with other Prep Provider notes or training material that is not a problem. We will build a plan unique to your preferred approach.
No. Our clients are successful due to the holistic and consistent coaching approach throughout the exam preparation session. A watered-down offering will have limited success.
👉 The minimum study hours is to ensure that clients at least have a shared baseline work expectation. Depending on your background it is not uncommon for us to try stretch you further than this minimum.
👉 Full-time students often have conflicting priorities and/or commitments to passing their other courses versus working wholeheartedly towards passing the CFA exams.
👉 Our experience is that new candidates often underestimate the effort required to pass the CFA exams. Our approach does not work well where clients are not fully committed to the process. Usually, it is not until candidates fail that they really appreciate the commitment necessary to pass CFA exams. There is also a level of humility required to hear advice without becoming defensive or upset.

👉 Understand that to prepare properly for a CFA exam requires focus and commitment. You need to have the frame of mind to apply yourself to the goal fully. Extraordinary mental or emotional distractions will limit our ability to be effective.
Access to the Charter Doozy coaching program runs for 1 exam session, up to a maximum of 18 months. Provided the deferral remains within this period you will be covered.
You can elect CFA coaching without Mark Meldrum Access. Let us know and the cost will be reduced from the full price accordingly.
